Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our commercial facilities in an urban area. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

About the Job
  • This position is responsible for directing and controlling the operations of commercial facilities, including evaluating their efficiency and recommending improvements.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • You will be responsible for planning and organizing the operations of the facilities, preparing reports and statistics, and estimating costs related to equipment and services.
  • In addition, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of real estate infrastructures, including machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
  1. Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities, ensuring they are run efficiently and effectively.
  2. Evaluate the operations of facilities and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  3. Plan and organize the operations of the facilities, including managing budgets, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  4. Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility, including financial performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  5. Estimate costs related to equipment and services, ensuring that expenses are minimized while maintaining high-quality services.
  6. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of real estate infrastructures, including machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
  7. Hire and train staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  8. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  9. Maintain accurate records and reports, using data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or operations management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Office, and other business software applications.
