At Deirdre Spencer, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to provide care and support to our elderly and individuals with disabilities in a home setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing personal care, administering medications, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by a healthcare professional
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Patience and honesty
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment

The work environment is non-smoking, and optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.
