We are seeking an experienced technician to join our team in Moncton, New Brunswick. The primary function of this position is to dress up our new truck inventory, including lights, fenders, PTO, chrome visors, bunk skirts, etc. You will need to pay attention to detail, work well with minimal supervision, and meet set SRT times.
Others duties may include:
- Demonstrating proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of medium and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including engines, power trains, electrical systems, steering systems, electronics, brake systems, and suspension systems.
- Identifying and determining parts required for repair of disassembled units.
- Performing all levels of preventive maintenance services.
- Identifying warrantable repairs and documenting on repair order.
- Road testing vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or verify repair resolution.
- Completing technical reports from different manufacturers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Being available to work covering the after-hours service call for emergencies.
- Working in a team environment and presenting oneself in a professional manner with a positive cooperative attitude.
- Maintaining an organized workspace and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
