About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving value proposition focus and developing customized solutions proposals to various clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and visual data models.
  • Traveling to industrial client sites for the purpose of gathering field application information and assessing client-specific needs.
  • Creating client dashboards and monitoring client sites on a day-to-day basis to ensure systems are operational.
  • Providing comprehensive technical and after-sale support to channel partners and industrial end-users as needed.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to develop and present customized solutions proposals to various clients for their application needs.
  • Interpreting client-specific drawings and understanding client processes.
  • Collaborating with sales teams on pricing and lead-time negotiations for customized solutions.
  • Providing marketing teams with application-specific content, aiding in the production of case studies and white papers, and presenting results/studies at events.
  • Working closely with engineering teams to determine solution feature requirements and identify system improvements and new features needed for various industrial client applications.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • An engineering degree (Chemical, Civil or Environmental preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience working in the water/wastewater industry.
  • 2-3 years of experience developing applications and driving value proposition focus.
  • Extensive knowledge of water quality parameters such as BOD, COD, and TSS.
  • Experience using water quality monitoring instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of the basic principles of spectrophotometry.
  • Attention to detail, highly organized, and effective time management skills.
  • A results-oriented, proactive work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with multiple priorities and projects under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, driven, willingness to learn, problem-solver, and professional.
  • Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Advanced level of ability to use Microsoft Office products.
