Cleaning Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team at K & G BUILDING MAINTENANCE SERVICES. As a Cleaning Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and dust-free environment
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Provide basic information on facilities to clients and employees
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Wax and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements:
  • Flexibility and reliability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Will to learn and take on new challenges
  • Ability to provide basic information on facilities to clients and employees
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a urban area with a cleaning service company
  • Work 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Public transportation is available
