Job Title: Night Houseperson

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Night Houseperson to join our housekeeping team at New Castle Hotels & Resorts. As a Night Houseperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our public areas, including the lobby, restrooms, corridors, and guestrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on Details: Conduct regular walks of assigned areas to ensure they are clean and tidy, reporting any missing or damaged items to management.
  • Be Organized: Maintain a clean and stocked environment, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and organized.
  • Be a Team Player: Assist guests and colleagues as needed, providing a warm and welcoming experience for all.
  • Be a Housekeeping Ambassador: Greet guests with a smile and offer assistance as needed, promoting a positive and friendly atmosphere.
  • Be a Safety & Security Agent: Follow hotel safety and security policies and procedures, reporting any incidents or concerns to management.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need basic English communication skills and prior housekeeping experience. You must be able to safely operate equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers, as well as chemicals used for cleaning and maintenance. Heavy work is required, involving lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
