Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products are fully stocked and available to consumers in local grocery stores and retail outlets.
Territory: The ideal candidate will be based in the Antigonish, Port Hawkesbury, and New Glasgow areas, with occasional travel to other locations.
Work Schedule: This is a part-time position, requiring 16 to 20 hours of work per week, with a focus on Thursday and Saturday shifts. Flexibility to adjust the schedule as needed is essential.
Compensation: The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $18.33, plus premiums for mileage and device usage.
Responsibilities- Replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between the backroom and front-of-store using manual or powered equipment.
- Build, change, or remove product displays while adhering to company standards, maintaining product signage, cleaning product space, and securing damaged or defective product.
- Follow all Coca-Cola Canada Bottling and store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
- Manage backroom inventory by organizing stock, identifying, monitoring, and reporting inventory levels, evaluating and processing damaged product, re-packing product, and organizing backroom materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with Company safety and sanitation requirements.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and customers.
- Must be 17 years of age.
- Minimum one year of experience working in grocery, retail, warehousing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks is an asset.
- Minimum one year of experience working under little to no supervision is preferred.
- Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours and current vehicle liability insurance.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
