About the Job

Melissa Azuelos is seeking a reliable and experienced Child Care Provider to join our team. As a Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children in a private home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Supervision
    • Provide safe and nurturing environment for children
    • Supervise and engage children in various activities
    • Ensure children's physical and emotional needs are met
  • Household Management
    • Assume full responsibility for household duties in absence of parents
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
    • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Meal Preparation and Nutrition
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals for children
    • Ensure children's dietary needs are met
  • Health and Safety
    • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
    • Administer medication as required
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers
    • Work collaboratively with parents to achieve common goals
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Physical stamina to keep up with children's energy levels
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Certifications and Clearances
    • First Aid Certificate
    • Child Abuse Registry check
    • Child welfare check
    • Criminal record check
    • Drug test
    • Medical exam
