About the Position

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Heavy Duty Technician to join our team as a 310T Licensed Technician (T4). As a T4, you will be responsible for performing complex diagnostics, repairs, and overhauls/rebuilds on heavy-duty vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform standard vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems with minimal support
  • Perform remote triage with customers to determine the best solution for roadside breakdowns
  • Instruct and advise other technicians on maintenance repair procedures and diagnostics
  • Coach and mentor other level technicians
  • Advise shop management and other technicians on shop repairs
  • Perform facility maintenance duties and utilize key functions of the Shop Management System
  • Work in accordance with all federal and corporate compliance guidelines
Requirements:
  • Diploma or GED required
  • 310T license is required
  • Valid Driver's License (Class G2 or above) is required
  • Four (4) years or more experience in performing advanced mechanical repairs and diagnostics on heavy-duty and medium-duty equipment is required
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to demonstrate proficiency with advanced diagnostics, overhaul, and repair of all vehicle components and systems
  • Ability to read and/or listen and understand information and ideas communicated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly thorough and dependable
  • Available for on-call duty and work shift/weekend
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
