About the Opportunity

  • We are seeking an experienced AVP of Finance Operations to lead our finance project and process improvement initiatives.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience in leading teams and managing projects.
  • The role will involve communicating and collaborating with departmental leaders to stay abreast of financial aspects of change, cost benefits, and evaluation.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for assessing the feasibility of finance change objectives, delivery timelines, and benefits applicable to accounting, expense management, finance systems efficiency, and data integrity.
  • The successful candidate will be a strong leader and communicator with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

About You

  • We are looking for a designated accounting professional with CA, CGA, CMA qualified or equivalent.
  • The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in a progressive leadership role, specifically within finance, and strong exposure to financial systems implementation.
  • The candidate will have a strong sense of customer focus, quality results-oriented, managing stakeholder's expectations, and timely communication.
  • The successful candidate will also have broad business knowledge in finance, accounting, reporting, planning, IT, systems, underwriting, claims operations, reserving, and IFRS17.

Salary
$160,000 to $170,000/year
