Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the Northern Health Region. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Work Setting:

This is a temporary position with a 38.75 hour workweek. You will be working in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting, with relocation costs covered by the employer. We are willing to relocate the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide education to patients and families.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and operate medical equipment as needed.
  • Provide nursing care, including wound care, vital sign monitoring, and medication management.
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff as required.
Certifications and Licenses:

We require the following certifications and licenses for this position:

  • Intravenous (IV) therapy Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work
