About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at YUE GOURMET RESTAURANT. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Criminal Record Check: A criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Screening Questions: You will be asked a series of screening questions as part of the hiring process.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience in a kitchen setting is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
