About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at David Hung Tak Chiu. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Support clients with mobility and exercise, such as walking and gentle stretching.
  • Shop for groceries and household essentials, and prepare nutritious meals.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Willingness to relocate for this position.
  • Previous experience in this field of employment is an asset.
