Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Grounds Maintenance Labourer to join our team at Ontario Ltd. As a Grounds Maintenance Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our properties, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass, rake, and collect refuse to maintain the grounds.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed, and repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including front end loaders, pick-up trucks, small engine equipment, tractors, and tractor mowers.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with repetitive tasks.
  • Physically demanding work, requiring combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
