Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Alliance Transport Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willing to travel for extended periods
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40 to 60 hours per week work schedule. You will be working in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks and large workload.
