Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team in Oakville, ON.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

The Restaurant Operations Manager will support the General Manager in overall restaurant operations, execution, management of staff, controllable profit plan achievement, guest count growth, and sales building activities.
The successful candidate will:
- Prepare and interpret financial and operational reports, analyze data, and develop solutions to ensure operating goals are achieved;
- Assist the General Manager by overseeing assigned shifts; monitor brand standards execution and adherence by directing hourly staff to achieve guest service standards in a clean and pleasant environment;
- Develop and coach hourly employees on brand standards, internal policies and procedures, and other guest focused programs to exceed guest service standards;
- Work with the General Manager to attract, hire, onboard, and retain the best hourly talent;
- Work with the General Manager to develop hourly employees through corporate training programs, individual development plans, and system assignments;
- Maintain compliance with Denny's Brand Standards, including all provincial, local, and federal regulations;
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to guest satisfaction and Denny's Core Values when interacting with others;
The successful candidate will have:
- 2+ years of experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry, preferably in leadership/operations role;
- Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written;
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements;
- Strong team player, collaborative, and attentive skills;
- Excellent guest service and people skills;
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectively;
- Licensed to operate an automobile without restrictions and have reliable transportation to meet banking obligations;
- Able to legally work in Canada;
