Job Opportunity: Construction Technology Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Construction Technology Teacher to join our team at the Toronto Catholic District School Board. As a Construction Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the construction trades, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach construction technology courses to students in the Intermediate and Senior divisions
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in the field

Requirements:

  • Ontario College of Teachers certification
  • Intermediate/Senior divisional qualifications in Construction Technology
  • Pastoral Reference Letter from a Roman Catholic Parish or completion of the Priest Reference Form
  • Practicum reports for teacher evaluations
  • Resume and Cover Letter addressed to the Sr. Manager of Recruitment, Human Resources
  • Two Associate/Host Teacher references or an alternate reference source
  • Priest Reference Form
