Job Title: Platform Engineer - Digital Health Technology

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our Digital Health Technology team at ResMed. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud-based platforms and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure cloud-based platforms and services using cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and compliance with relevant security frameworks and regulations.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of our security frameworks and tools, ensuring they can be effectively utilized by all development teams.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay informed about new security threats and technologies.
  • Support the implementation of cutting-edge security solutions and practices within the platform team.
Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of cloud-native technologies, containerized workloads, and an interest in cloud security.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, Go, Python, TypeScript) and a willingness to learn secure coding practices.
  • Knowledge of source control, branching & release strategies, pull requests, and automated quality gates using tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
  • A recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience in a related field.

Location:

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance. For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based on the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
