Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Polisher, Stone Products Specialist to join our team at Imac Enterprises Corp. as a key member of our manufacturing and industrial plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Adjustments: Perform ongoing machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Stone Dressing: Operate a stone-dressing lathe to sharpen and dress grindstones that grind logs into pulp.
  • Product Finishing: Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases.
  • Surface Finishing: Finish surfaces of castings using screed or trowel.
  • Material Preparation: Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
  • Product Cleaning: Clean, polish, file, or otherwise finish products.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Polishing Machines: Operate and maintain polishing machines to ensure high-quality finishes.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physical Demands: Handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and perform tasks that require standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and move objects weighing up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
Personal Suitability
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Experience
  • Industry Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a manufacturing and industrial plant environment.
