About H Home Reno

We are a dynamic home renovation company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of our workspaces.

Job Summary

This is a temporary full-time position working 32-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will possess excellent physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks. If you are a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt from surfaces.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers regularly.
  • Clean windows, interior walls, and ceilings to ensure a healthy and pleasant workspace.
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to appliances.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to prevent accidents and ensure employee well-being.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
Work Environment

You will be working in various locations, including remote sites. This role requires minimal supervision, allowing you to work independently while maintaining open communication with our team.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
