Early Childhood Educator – Cree Culture Specialist

**Job Opportunity:**
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band's Education Department is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join their team at the Mikisiw Awasis Early Learning Center in La Ronge, SK.
**Job Summary:**
We are looking for an experienced Early Childhood Educator who can work collaboratively with daycare and AHSOR staff to implement Cree Culture and Language programming for children.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Work with staff to deliver and use Cree Culture and Language in daily programming
- Plan and coordinate land-based outings for staff and children
- Assist with Culture and Language skill development and quality instruction
- Liaise with the LLRIB Cree Resource Unit
- Balance all aspects of Cree Culture and Language in program delivery
**Requirements:**
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Preferred Level 3 ECE Diploma
- Valid First Aid/CPR, WHIMIS, and Food Safety Handler's Certificate
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of software programs
- Personal experience as a parent or caregiver of infants and/or young children
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and public relations skills
- Ability to speak and understand Cree and have knowledge of Cree Culture
