About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welding Machine Operator to join our team at RAJ STEEL FABRICATION. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. We provide a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, and Indigenous people.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
