Senior Operations Manager, Grocery Retail

Job Summary
The Senior Operations Manager, Grocery Retail will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of Retail client accounts and providing senior technical and operational support to the account staff. This includes developing policies and procedures for all types of buildings managed by CBRE, as well as managing the performance of mechanical and maintenance staff/systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities operations and retail management, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage business unit's financial performance in an account.
- Provide recommendations for tactical and strategic planning.
- Assist in acquisition underwriting and due diligence.
- Develop new business opportunities, including client solicitation and proposal development.
- Supervise the planning, budgeting and control of operating and capital expenditures.
- Oversee and approve the calculation of all special billings.
- Supervise the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, management plans, monthly performance reports, and variance reports.
- Ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and complete reports. Perform regular inspections of properties.
- Recommend and direct alterations, maintenance and reconditioning of properties as necessary.
- Assist clients with recommendations and implementation to digitally transform properties to meet future business requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Senior Operations Manager, Grocery Retail will manage the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. This may include direct and matrix reports. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively recommend and direct staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. They will also be responsible for monitoring staffing levels and reporting on utilization and deployment of human resources.
