Job Description

The Machine Learning Manager at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc leads a team of machine learning engineers to develop large-scale, real-time systems that optimize bids and maximize advertiser value.

About the Role

This position plays a critical role in our ads delivery system by automating bids based on advertiser objectives and ensuring smooth, consistent budget delivery throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the roadmap for the Auto-Bidding team, balancing innovation, efficiency, and business impact.

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-performance auto-bidding algorithms and advertiser-facing products to achieve optimal campaign performance.

- Utilize experience with control systems, including PID controllers, multi-armed bandits, reinforcement learning algorithms, or bid/pricing optimization systems.

Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years of engineering management experience leading ML or related technical teams.

- At least 6 years of industry experience with large-scale machine learning, preferably in advertising or marketplace optimization.

- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience building ML systems.
