Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead RF Engineer to join our 5G R&D team in Ottawa, Canada. The successful candidate will have expertise in 4G and 5G Radio development and will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the RF design team.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Assessing competition and developing technology and products
  2. Generating intellectual property and driving product architecture and implementation
  3. Working with colleagues across the business to ensure Dell products lead the way
  4. Mentor junior designers and guide them to success

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Participate in next-generation architectural investigations/proposals
  • Detailed understanding of 3GPP specifications and worldwide spectrum and telecommunications regulations
  • Working knowledge of RF lab equipment and 4G and 5G Radio and/or subsystems architecture, implementation, and ecosystem
