Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and quality control measures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and manage inventory effectively.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Health care plan and life insurance benefits.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of work.
