Job Overview

Viking is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Systems Technician to join our team of fire protection professionals. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients receive fully compliant fire alarm systems.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Verifying, programming, servicing, and inspecting fire alarm systems to meet industry standards and codes.
  • Performing upgrades, repairs, additions, or improvements to systems following inspection.
  • Preparing inspection, verification, and deficiencies reports in a timely manner.
  • Responding to emergency calls during evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.
Requirements
  • CFAA certification.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in service and inspection of fire protection systems.
  • Experience in programming fire alarm panels is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S524, S536, and S537.
  • Knowledge of Notifier products is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Strong customer service skills.
