About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Mechanic to join our team at Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes.

As a Journeyperson Instrumentation Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining field instrumentation and final control elements.

You will work in a team-oriented environment of maintenance peers and be a courageous safety leader, adhering to and sponsoring safety and environmental rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, repair, and maintain field instrumentation and final control elements
  • Perform in a team-oriented environment of maintenance peers

Qualifications

  • Inter-Provincial Red Seal Instrumentation Mechanic Ticket
  • Knowledge of Foxboro and ABB Systems
  • Knowledge of Modicon PLC's and Wonderware HMI's
  • WHIMIS certification
  • Experience in an industrial environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
