About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled E-Billing Coordinator to join our team at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. As an E-Billing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in preparing and submitting E-billing invoices, providing unbilled time and billing support to our legal professionals, and serving as a subject matter expert in E-billing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process prebills and final billings on a monthly/quarterly or on-request basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Set up E-billing for clients, ensuring seamless integration with our systems.
  3. Enter timekeeper rates in E-billing platforms, maintaining up-to-date information.
  4. Utilize various third-party vendor sites for E-billing, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  5. Provide backup support to other accounting and billing team members as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
  6. Participate actively in E-billing-related projects, testing, and other initiatives, showcasing your expertise and enthusiasm.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of our team.
Requirements
  1. 3+ years of experience in accounting/billing, with 1+ year of E-billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
  2. Post-secondary education, preferably a university degree.
  3. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and math skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat.
  4. Experience with Aderant (CMS), Intapp Time, Prebill Manager, or other time and billing systems is an asset.
  5. Solid understanding of accounting principles as they relate to billing, time, and costs, and accounts receivable.
  6. Thorough grasp of E-billing requirements and processes, with the ability to contribute to E-billing-related projects and testing.
  7. Bilingual (English/French) is preferred, but not required.
  8. Ability to work well in a team environment, with minimal supervision, and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  9. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are essential.
  10. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  11. Availability to work overtime to meet month-end and year-end deadlines is necessary.

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000, depending on level of experience, region/location, and other factors.
