Job Title: Installation Specialist

Gteck Advanced Technology is a leading provider of electronic security solutions in Ontario. We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Installation Specialist to lead and uphold our commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our clients. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various security systems, including CCTV, card access, intrusion, and intercom systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of CCTV systems, card access systems, intrusion systems, ULC intrusion and ULC fire monitoring systems, intercom systems, and structured cabling
  • Software installation and upgrades
  • Attend and participate in site meetings
  • Coordinate with other trades on job sites
  • Install server/client software and setup switches
  • Project test/commissioning reports
  • Follow strict health and safety protocols
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
  • Strong knowledge of electronics devices and strong troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of Excel to import/export data
  • Ability to use test equipment including but not limited to Multi Meters, Network testers, network scanners
  • Ability to use power tools such as Jig Saws, Grinders, Dremel's, Large Concrete hammer drills
  • Ability to complete jobs in timely manner to meet targeted deadlines
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass Government Security Clearances and Criminal Background Checks
