About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring excellence in patient care, customer service, and operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring accurate process flow related to patient records retention
• Assisting the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
• Evaluating legality, interpreting, and inputting all prescriptions, labels, and consent forms to ensure patient information is up-to-date and in the pharmacy's computer system
• Completing documentation, including third-party management and reconciliation, patient files, prescriptions, printing reports, and invoices
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and dispensary
• Supporting the pharmacy team with inventory management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A completed Pharmacy Technician Diploma or Bridging program from an accredited College (Required)
• Successful completion of the PEBC Qualifying exam (Required)
• Membership in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists (e.g., O.C.P.) (Required)
• 1 year of continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment
• Proficient computer knowledge and skills; Windows proficiency required

What We Offer
