About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Worker to join our team at NAMU LANDSCAPE. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, as well as performing various other tasks related to lawn care and grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Landscape Construction: Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and applying fertilizers.
  • Outdoor Maintenance: Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants, cut grass, rake and collect refuse, remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain equipment, including landscape maintenance equipment, and operate and maintain equipment as needed.
  • Plant Care: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and apply fertilizers as necessary.
  • Transportation: Own transportation is required, and public transportation is available.
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots are required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Will train, and previous experience in this field of employment is an asset.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
