We take pride in giving used vehicles a second life at our 27 auto recycling yards across Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
A Competitive Salary:
We offer a competitive wage starting at $15 per hour, plus a semi-annual bonus of up to 5%. In addition, you will be entitled to full-time permanent position benefits, including AIM Tuition Assistance Program, vacation time, benefits, and RRSP matching program.
About the Job:
As a Heavy Equipment Technician Assistant, you will play a vital role in our daily operations by completing manual tasks. Your responsibilities will include preparing vehicles for display in the yard, dismounting and sorting wheels and tires, cleaning, testing, and sorting batteries for resale, filling cans with certain liquids and labeling them, and preparing, organizing, and cleaning the yard for customers.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have previous work experience in a labor-intensive role, a commitment to good health and safety practices, ability to lift up to 50-75lbs, a proven track record for punctuality and reliability, good manual dexterity, and ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
