Heavy Duty Mechanic Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Waste Connections of Canada Inc. in Ajax, ON. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of garbage trucks in a safe working order.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic and brake systems
  • Work with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all vehicles meet provincial regulations and standards
Requirements:
  • 310T license (mandatory)
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment tests
  • Commercial Driving License is an asset

  • Monday to Friday schedule with rotating on-call Saturdays
