Job Title: Strategy Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategy Director to join our team at Manulife Insurance Malaysia. As a key member of our Enterprise Strategy team, you will play a critical role in driving transformation and achieving strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and transformation.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to scope, analyze, and resolve key strategic issues.

  • Manage initiatives with strategic impact on business, ensuring business benefits are realized.

  • Communicate and present key insights to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with global counterparts to develop and deliver informed recommendations.

  • Support the development and implementation of the Strategic Planning Process.

  • Act as a change agent to build awareness and vision.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in business or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or similar strategy roles.

  • 10 years combined education and experience in a strategy function within a large multi-national corporation, ideally in the Financial Services industry.

  • Strong business focus and understanding of Enterprise Strategy methods & intent.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, very comfortable with quantitative & financial analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership team members individually and collectively.

  • Regarded as a realistic and practical individual, and is respected for the ability to deliver.

  • Must be an excellent facilitator and communicator.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse environments and cultures.
