We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at MacLeod House Baddeck. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a nursing home setting. Your primary focus will be on delivering compassionate and individualized care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a nursing home setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
