Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables.
    • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers.
    • Advise customers on menu selections.
    • Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Table Maintenance
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
    • Work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
    • Work 30 to 40 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
