Job Title: Chambermaid

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Chambermaid to join our team at Pinewood Motor Inn. As a Chambermaid, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, organized, reliability, team player.
  • Experience: Will train, permanent position, 15 to 40 hours per week, English language.
