About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at BMO Financial Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced business intelligence solutions that drive business growth and improvement.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and modeling, with experience working with large datasets and developing complex analytical models. You will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop effective solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement advanced business intelligence solutions using tools such as Anaplan, Excel, and SQL
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions
  • Develop complex analytical models to predict future outcomes and optimize business processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop effective solutions
  • Communicate results and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or other quantitative disciplines and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience with distributed computing language (e.g. Hive / Hadoop/ Spark) & cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Sagemaker, AzureML)
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R, SAS, SPSS, , Perl) and machine learning /deep learning algorithms/packages (e.g. XGBoost, H2O, SparkML)
  • Deep proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, forecasting/predictive analytics, multivariate testing, and optimization algorithms
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience

BMO Financial Group offers a competitive salary range of $100,800.00 - $187,200.00 per year, depending on location and experience.
