Island Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Basic Life Support, Level C certification.
- Recognized post-basic education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One year's recent related experience.
In addition, specialty unit nurse positions may require area-specific specialty certification, while Emergency Room, ICU, and Critical Care Relief Pool positions may require Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Key Responsibilities- Apply the nursing process effectively in a well-organized manner to the care of assigned patients.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Remain calm and act appropriately in stressful and emergency situations.
