Key Responsibilities
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that our sales floor is adequately staffed and that our sales workers are assigned to duties that align with their skills and strengths.
  • Hire and Train or Arrange for Training of Staff: Collaborate with our HR team to recruit and hire new staff members, and provide training and development opportunities to ensure that our team is equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Order Merchandise: Work with our purchasing team to ensure that our store is stocked with the latest products and that our inventory levels are optimized.
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Review and approve returns and exchanges, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to our customers.
  • Prepare Reports on Sales Volumes, Merchandising, and Personnel Matters: Analyze sales data and provide insights to our management team to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Issues that May Arise, Including Customer Requests, Complaints, and Supply Shortages: Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure that our store is well-stocked and that our inventory levels are optimized.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Workers: Lead and motivate our sales team to achieve exceptional results.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 7 Months to Less Than 1 Year of Experience: Previous retail experience is an asset.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
