We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Northern Health Region.
Job Summary:The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions and pharmacy policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, medications, and inventory
- Assist pharmacists with clinical tasks, such as interpreting physician's specifications and maintaining inventories
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- Completion of a pharmacy technician program or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
