Salary
The salary range for this position is $140,321 to $164,894. As a senior-career level position, our Industrial Technology Advisors often start at the lower end of this range.
Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned industry professional to support the NRC Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP). The ideal candidate will share our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect, and Creativity.
This role involves working with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help them grow and prosper through the commercialization of innovation. You will be part of a team that provides innovative advisory services to clients, helping them navigate technical or business hurdles, and identifying new opportunities for growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A post-secondary degree in Science or Engineering, or a combination of education and experience relevant to the position.
- Recent and extensive industrial business experience as an entrepreneur or senior manager in one or more technological domains, including Digital Technology and AI.
- Experience in developing and commercializing innovative products or services, with demonstrable outcomes.
- Solid knowledge of SME business management, marketing of technology, and productivity increase.
