Job Title: Electrical Engineering Technician

Shanghai-sk Electric Canada inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical power equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop power equipment and systems
  • Install equipment
  • Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation
  • Maintain equipment
  • Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements
  • Service equipment
  • Test power equipment and systems
  • Assist in design, development, and testing
  • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
  • Conduct safety training programs
  • Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data
  • Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports
