We are seeking an Expert Python Engineer to join our team at Python Software Foundation. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our data platform, which connects to over 300 different APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines to improve data quality and availability
  • Build and deploy machine learning models to drive business insights
  • Collaborate with our team of skilled engineers and data scientists to develop innovative solutions

Requirements:

  • PhD in computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, or physics
  • Strong background in Python, including experience with Flask, Gevent, Memoize, and Pytest
  • Proficiency in Docker, Linux, and Git
  • Fluency in SQL and Unix/Linux bash
  • Experience in web analytics and web technologies
