Job Title: Janitor/Cleaner

At Secpwepemc/St'atl'imc/Nlaka'pamux, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Janitor/Cleaner. This is a part-time position that requires the successful candidate to perform a wide range of janitorial tasks under the supervision of the Daycare Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform janitorial duties, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery, such as vacuum cleaners and mops.
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed.
  • Assist with special events and projects as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
