Job Title: Nanny and Housekeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nanny and Housekeeper to join our team at Charles MacPherson Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare and household management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily childcare duties, including bathing, feeding, playing, changing, and hygiene
  • Manage household cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning
  • Maintain household inventory in conjunction with other staff members
  • Prepare basic meals and snacks for children
  • Perform daily laundry, occasional ironing and steaming, and follow washing instructions for specific fabrics
  • Manage trash and recycling
  • Occasionally drive principals
  • Help maintain children's schedules
  • Run errands, grocery shopping, and other provisioning as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in a private residence
  • Strong housekeeping, laundry, and ironing skills, with correct use of products and methods for fine finishes and surfaces
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times, exercise diplomacy, discretion, and respect of boundaries
  • Service-oriented with excellent English communication skills
  • A full, valid driver's license
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
