Data Insights Engineer, Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Data Insights Engineer to join our Analytics team. As a key member of this group, you will be responsible for leveraging various Analytics tools to generate business-shaping insights and powering an automation-driven customer journey for AWS customers.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with leaders in the organization to bring critical thinking and insight into action. You will take ownership of the customer/business problem across the spectrum from ideation to setting it up for implementation in partnership with stakeholder teams.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc., as well as experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools. Additionally, they should have expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines, as well as experience writing complex SQL queries and working with Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
