Are you passionate about helping people create homes they love? Do you have a keen eye for interior décor and merchandising? We're seeking a talented Floor Supervisor to join our team at Urban Barn, a national retail chain offering high-quality furniture and home décor.

As a Floor Supervisor, you'll play a key role in enriching the customer experience while growing your experience with a well-known Canadian retailer. You'll collaborate with the Manager and Assistant Manager to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we're looking for candidates who can work 30-40 hours per week and are available to work a variety of shifts on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide customers in their decor choices and provide expert advice on interior décor and merchandising
  • Open, prepare, and close the store, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Train and coach team members to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Support operational tasks for stock and merchandising, ensuring the store runs smoothly
  • Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store, creating an inviting atmosphere for customers
What We're Looking For:
  • At least 2 years of Retail sales experience, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Experience in Customer Service Leadership, with a focus on team development and coaching
  • A passion for interior décor and merchandising, with a keen eye for detail
  • Commitment to a flexible schedule, including daytime, evening, and weekend shifts
  • The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
