Job Title: Automotive Test Engineer

Job Summary:

Lorven Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Test Engineer to join our team. As an Automotive Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans for automotive systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans for automotive systems and components
  • Design and develop test automation frameworks using Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts
  • Identify and report defects and issues
  • Work with development teams to resolve defects and issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in Python scripting, preferably in the automotive embedded domain
  • Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet
  • Experience with embedded generic testing is an advantage
  • Preferred experience with Autosar classic
  • Expertise in requirement gathering, analyzing requirements, writing manual test cases, automating them in Python, and test execution on HW Bench/ECU
  • Good working knowledge of UDS Diagnostic Testing (ISO 14229) is preferred
  • Expertise in automating manual test cases using Python
  • Good knowledge of tools such as DOORS, JIRA, and CANoe
  • Unit Testing and System Testing are an added advantage
